RCL FOODS is seeking a capable and motivated individual to join its Speciality Spartan operating unit as a General Worker. This position involves general duties within the Supply Chain environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Support
- Assist with tasks and activities as requested by the Warehouse Administrator.
- Support the Stores team with onsite tasks, including deliveries, particularly during weekends and overtime.
- Perform delegated supervisory tasks and system transactions from the Warehouse Administrator, especially during overtime or weekend shifts.
- Safety and Compliance
- Comply with all company policies related to health, safety, environment, risk management, and quality standards (including HACCP/ISO requirements).
- Conduct housekeeping tasks in alignment with standard operating procedures.
- Stock Management
- Accept stock from production by accurately scanning labels and completing transactions using Smartech.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent NQF 4 qualification (preferred).
- Valid Forklift License.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Competence in reading and writing legibly.
- Prior experience and knowledge of Smartech (advantageous).
