What the Programme Offers
The Professional Bus Driver’s Skills Programme is a course that takes both in class and practical lessons. Skills that participants will learn include:
Advanced and defensive driving
Customer service and passenger safety
Keeping to the schedule and route management
Basic automotive maintenance and vehicle inspection.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be an unemployed South African citizen from a previously disadvantaged ethnic group
- Hold a Grade 12 or higher qualification
- Be between the ages of 22 and 30 years
- Have no criminal record
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence will be advantageous, but it is not compulsory
