Get ready for an exciting opportunity with the Eastern Africa Statistical Training Centre (EASTC)! We’re thrilled to introduce our Apprenticeship Program for 2025, designed to connect academic learning with hands-on experience in statistics, data science, and related fields. As the need for data-driven decision-making skyrockets across various industries, EASTC is dedicated to preparing the next wave of professionals with the practical skills and real-world insights they need to succeed in today’s digital landscape. So, what exactly is the EASTC Apprenticeship Program? It’s a well-structured, work-based learning experience tailored for recent graduates and those in their final year of study. Over the course of 6 to 12 months, apprentices will collaborate with experienced professionals, dive into real projects, and benefit from mentorship that aligns perfectly with their studies and career goals.

Apprenticeship Trades Offered:
- Electrical
- Bricklaying
- Plumbing
These apprenticeships are designed to provide industry-relevant, practical training that equips learners with the tools to thrive in South Africa’s growing technical job market.
Minimum Requirements:
- For Electrical: Grade 12 certificate
- For Bricklaying and Plumbing: Minimum Grade 10 certificate
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Must be under the age of 35
