iMas Insurance Brokers, an authorised financial services provider offering financing and insurance solutions, is inviting applications from unemployed South Africans from previously disadvantaged and designated groups to participate in the Long-Term Insurance (Life) Learnership Programme.
iMasFinance Co-operative (Ltd) is offering a 12-month learnership programme with a combination of academia and practical work through one of its subsidiaries, iMas Insurance Brokers. It is customized for people with interest in the fields of finance, insurance, and customer service and are willing to develop professionally in one of the most important sectors in the country.
What the Learnership Offers
Upon completion, the learners obtain an accredited NQF Level 4 Long-Term Insurance Qualification with an insurance certificate issued by the Financial Services Sector INSETA. It gives learners adequate knowledge in the principles of insurance, selling, compliance, and customer care in the insurance industry, which is avery important in the industry.
Learners improve their qualification by acquiring professional experience since they work in the industry under the supervision of trained professionals. This exposure facilitates the acquisition of practical skills that may not be learnt in the classroom.
iMasFinance supports their learners through a R5000 monthly stipend, which enables trainees to channel their efforts fully toward the learnership without facing overwhelming financial burdens.

- Grade 12 with Mathematics and/or Accounting
- Currently unemployed
- Not registered for any other studies
- Available to start on 1 September 2025
