Honestly, you’ll be rolling up your sleeves for all sorts of stuff:
– Helping out with repairs and general park maintenance—think fixing, tinkering, patching up what needs fixing
– Sweeping up, keeping workspaces clean—nobody likes a mess
– Backing up the skilled folks with whatever they need, hauling stuff, you get the idea
– Bit of gardening, keeping things green and neat
– Sticking to safety rules because, well, it’s a wild place (literally)
What do you need to even get a shot?
– Grade 10 or equivalent—school’s out, but you need the basics
– You gotta be able to handle hard work—if you hate breaking a sweat, maybe not for you
– Know your way around tools? Even just the basics? Good.
– Can’t be someone who needs babysitting—you gotta handle your biz solo AND be a team player
– If you’ve done this kind of work before, that’s a major plus
– You’ve gotta be South African or have the right papers
