About the Programme
The Y.E.S Learner Internship is a 12-month internship across departments at the Nestlé Mossel Bay Factory. This is a great opportunity for individuals to gain practical exposure while being a part of a globally recognized company’s success.
What Will Make You Successful?
To be considered for the internship, applicants need to possess the following qualifications:
Matric with Maths and Science: You should have completed your Matric with good Maths and Science.
Completed Engineering-Related Qualification (Preferred): Not necessary, but an engineering-related qualification will be an added advantage.
Currently Unemployed: The programme is actually designed to provide opportunities to the unemployed youth.
Fluent in English: The ability to communicate well is the key to success, and you must be proficient in English.
Strong Reasoning Ability: Strong reasoning ability and problem-solving capacity are greatly valued.
Analytical and Numeracy Skills: You should be comfortable with numbers and analytical in nature.
Team Player (Cross Functional): You should possess the ability to work in teams and also in cross-functional teams.
Self-Starter and Service-Oriented: You should be self-starting, initiatory, and focused on service delivery.
Flexible Working Hours: You will have to be ready to work flexible hours whenever required.
Tenacious, Disciplined, and Results-Oriented: A strong desire to produce results and stay disciplined is a must.
Good Presentation Skills: The capacity to present clearly and assertively is a must.
Strategic and Proactive: You have to be strategic in your mind and proactive in action at work.
Empathetic: An understanding of others’ goals, drivers, and requirements is a must to foster good working relationships.
