PG Glass serves as the premier provider of auto and building glass replacement services across Southern Africa. With over 110 fitment centers, the company offers comprehensive solutions ranging from vehicle windscreen repair to domestic and commercial glass replacement. PG Glass operates a 24-hour contact center for customer assistance and insurance claim processing. Only established brands, such as Shatterprufe®, Safevue®, OE, Armourplate®, LLumar®, and PG SmartGlass®, are supplied and installed.
Position Profiles
Contact Centre Trainee
- Act as the initial point of contact for all customer enquiries (phone, email, other channels)
- Address and resolve customer queries while ensuring optimal service standards
- Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction throughout every interaction
Autoglass Trainee
- Perform installation, repair, and replacement of automotive glass on diverse vehicle types
- Apply technical expertise and diligence to deliver precise, high-quality workmanship
Customer Service Consultant
- Oversee the front desk at the Fitment Centre, providing professional support to both clients and staff
- Ensure adherence to corporate identity, operational protocols, and business process standards
- Process and administer internal sales; act in a supervisory capacity during the manager’s absence
Human Resources & Finance Trainee
- Support human resource and finance departments with administrative and operational functions
Eligibility and Minimum Requirements
Educational Background
- Minimum: Matric (Grade 12)
- Further Education:
- Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Operations Management, Retail Management, or Marketing Management
- N6 Certificates in:
- Management Assistance
- Business Management
- Office Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Engineering Studies (Fitting & Turning)
- Human Resources Management
- Financial Management
- Call Centre-related fields
Competencies and Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbal and written)
- Advanced computer literacy
- Rigorous attention to detail and organizational capability
- Ability to provide efficient customer service
- Demonstrated accuracy and effectiveness in task completion
Additional Criteria
- South African citizenship
- Age between 18–29 years (must already be 18)
- No prior YES4Youth program participation
- Currently unemployed status
- No criminal record
- High attention to detail, self-motivated, and strong initiative
- Driver’s license is beneficial but not mandatory
